We are all so proud of our very own Louise Leeson, CS Cleaning's Finance Manager, who participated in the Midnight Moo walk to raise money for Willen Hospice last Friday. This walk was a heartfelt journey in memory and love.
Walking with Purpose
Louise laced up her walking shoes and strode along with hundreds of others at night under the moon to raise money for Willen Hospice, which is very close to her heart. She walked in memory of two special people in her life, her dad Jason and friend Jason, both of whom were cared for by Willen Hospice at the end of their lives.
Her engagement with the event was also personal and a poignant tribute to those she has loved and lost. Louise detailed how the hospice care and compassion made all of this huge difference, not just to her loved ones but to her entire family during their times of need.
The Midnight Moo: A Community in Motion
The Midnight Moo is Milton Keynes' best-supported charity event, bringing the community together to take a 5 or 10-mile night walk around the city. Money raised allows Willen Hospice to carry on delivering expert end-of-life care for patients and support to their families free of charge.
Conducted overnight, it's not just a fund-raiser but a display of solidarity, remembrance, and community. Every step that Louise took was filled with thought, strength, and the knowledge that her walk would impact the care of others in similar circumstances.
